MEET OUR FOUNDER
Roslyn E. Dixon
Founder & CEO

"Your child is our first priority — it always has been, and it always will be."
— Roslyn E. Dixon · Founder & CEO · Est. 1995

Dixon Academy was founded on the dream of a young woman who wanted to make a lasting difference in the lives of children. Coming from a family of educators, the vision to nurture and educate children from an early age was both natural and deeply personal. That dream became a reality when the first Dixon Academy center opened in Charlotte, North Carolina, in October 1995. Since then, Dixon Academy has continued to grow and flourish.

Our centers are led by dedicated administrators, teachers, and support staff who genuinely love working with children. We believe that every child deserves the very best start in life, and we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment where children can learn and thrive.
"I didn't just want to open a daycare. I wanted to build a place where children feel like they matter — because they do."
— Roslyn E. Dixon, Founder & CEO
