Dixon Academy is thoughtfully designed to nurture the natural curiosity and growing independence of three-year-olds. Using The Creative Curriculum for Preschool, we provide an engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experience that supports the whole child, through large and small group and center activities, indoor and outdoor activities, sensory activities, and free play.

In this stage of early learning, our experienced educators focus on expanding language and communication through stories, songs, conversations, and purposeful play. While strengthening social-emotional skills like sharing, taking turns, and problem-solving with peers. Promoting independence and self-help skills in daily routines and classroom responsibilities. Encouraging exploration of math, science, art, music, and literacy in a safe, supportive environment. Our classrooms are designed to foster creativity, hands-on discovery, and joyful learning. Children are given opportunities to investigate the world around them, express themselves through open-ended play, and develop critical thinking skills that lay the foundation for Pre-K readiness.

Communication between educators and parents is consistent and daily through ProCare Connect. Teachers share photos, children’s artwork, meals, daily activities, and more.
