Dixon Academy
Toddlers

Dixon Academy Toddlers Program Ages - 12 - 24 Months
The toddler curriculum and learning centers are based on the Creative Curriculum for Infants, Toddlers and Twos. These learning centers emphasize the creation of developmentally appropriate activities which encompass the skills and experiences needed for optimum development and personal success.
FAMILY ENGAGEMENT & COMMUNICATION
Dixon Academy values strong partnerships with families as children grow and develop during the toddler years. To ensure families stay informed and involved in their child’s progress, we host Parent-Teacher Conferences twice a year.

During conferences, teachers share updates about each toddler’s developmental progress, including language growth, social development, and emerging independence. These meetings provide families with insight into their child’s learning experiences and offer opportunities to collaborate with educators on ways to support development at home.
Families are also invited to attend our Annual Open House, where they can explore classrooms, meet our teaching team, and learn more about our educational approach.
SUPPORTING THE PATH TO KINDERGARTEN READINESS
During the toddler years, children rapidly develop communication, problem-solving, and social skills. Our educators create intentional learning opportunities that nurture curiosity and independence while strengthening these foundational abilities.
At Dixon Academy, we recognize that kindergarten readiness is a journey that begins early, and our toddler program continues building the essential skills that prepare children for future academic success.
