Dixon Academy
Twos

Dixon Academy Twos Program Ages - 2 - 3 Years
The Twos program uses hands-on, play-based learning to support social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical growth. Activities are designed to meet toddlers’ developmental needs, encouraging curiosity, independence, and early learning skills in a nurturing environment.
STRONG FAMILY PARTNERSHIP
Family engagement remains a priority as children grow more independent and curious in our Twos Program. Dixon Academy hosts Parent-Teacher Conferences twice each year to provide families with updates on their child’s development and classroom experiences.
Teachers share information about each child’s progress in areas such as language development, social interactions, and early problem-solving skills. These conferences allow families and educators to work together to support each child’s learning journey.
Families are also welcome to participate in our Annual Open House, an opportunity to connect with staff, explore classrooms, and celebrate our vibrant learning community.
PREPARING YOUNG LEARNERS FOR THE NEXT STEP
Our Twos Program focuses on strengthening early learning skills through exploration, communication, and social development. These experiences help children build confidence while laying the groundwork for preschool learning.
At Dixon Academy, we believe that the path to kindergarten readiness begins long before Pre-K, and the experiences children have in our twos classrooms play an important role in building that strong foundation.
